Read: Teleperformance partners with the Purpose Coalition to produce social impact report

Teleperformance, the global digital business services company, today announced its partnership with the Purpose Business Coalition to produce a report which will assess its social impact.

In partnership with crossbench peer and former Labour MP, Lord Walney, and former Education Secretary, Rt Hon Justine Greening, the Impact Report will consider Teleperformance’s work against a framework of 14 Purpose Goals. These focus on key life stages from early years to adulthood as well as the barriers to people getting on, such as digital connectivity, and can help identify the gaps where access to opportunity is limited.

Teleperformance is the worldwide leader in outsourced multichannel customer experience management, helping organisations make the best of every stage of their customer relationships. Its services cover customer care, technical support, customer acquisition and debt collection. It has seven locations in the UK with 9000 employees and has a particular focus on its people culture, with active engagement at all levels of the organisation that aims to develop the individual. It regularly features in the best places to work in the UK.

Purpose Coalition Chair, Rt Hon Justine Greening said: “Digital businesses are integral to our twenty-first century world. They drive the way we live now. They play a crucial role in providing people with the high-tech, green skills that employers want and our economy needs if it is to recover and prosper. They can also bring opportunity into the heart of the towns and cities where they are located, improving the lives of individual employees as well as the prospects of their communities. I’m looking forward to working with Teleperformance to learn more about the purposeful impact that the company is already making for its colleagues, customers and communities and to explore where it can make even more of a difference. ”

Vice President of People Operations, Employee Experience for Teleperformance UK, Lisa Dolan said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Purpose Coalition and are super excited to see our programmes truly flourish with the expertise and support we know the Purpose Coalition will provide.  Our people are our biggest asset. Every day, we strive to ensure that they are happy, feel safe, engaged, respected and listened to, across all our demographics of employees.  We truly are a diverse and inclusive workforce and we know working with the Purpose Coalition will help us elevate that even further.”

Purpose Business Coalition Chair, Lord Walney added: ‘Teleperformance is a great example of a business which puts its people first. It understands that the best employee experience provides the best customer experience so it makes sound business sense to have a happy, engaged and fulfilled workforce that will help to deliver innovative solutions as well as profitability. By sharing its best practice, it can play a significant leadership role in driving change and shaping equality of opportunity.”
