General Election Briefing Series launched for Coalition Members

This is Purpose has today announced an exclusive series of virtual events for members in the run-up to the General Election on 4th July.

The  sessions are designed to provide members with crucial insights and updates on policy developments during the crucial coming weeks of the campaign. Each session will cover the ins and outs of the campaign, policy developments, and help organisations to gain a comprehensive insight into the election landscape.

The virtual webinars will take place weekly and be led by former Member of Keir Starmer’s Shadow Cabinet Nick Forbes CBE, and This is Purpose’s Director of External Affairs Matthew McPherson.

With the Labour Party dramatically ahead in the opinion polls, an election could mean a change of government for the first time in almost fifteen years. A new government and new Ministers will mean widespread and significant changes – including revised policy priorities, potential changes in laws and regulations, and new people in charge of day-to-day decisions across government. These sessions will aim to inform organisations of the potential change, and what happens next.

Coalition Members can sign up for the series at fit-for-purpose.org/election or contact their Coalition Director for more details.
